Can I use the AOL browser to run courses?

You may use AOL as your connection to the Internet; however, it cannot be used to run courses. In order to run our courses, you must use one of the approved browsers.

AOL can be used to accomplish everything on this website except running the courses.

One solution to this problem is to connect to the Internet using AOL, and then launch a different browser such as:
Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows (5.0 or higher)
Netscape Navigator (6.2 or higher), Mozilla (1.6 or higher)
FireFox (0.8 or higher)
Camino (0.7 or higher)
Opera for Windows (7.23 or higher).

If you are unsure about how to do this, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Launch AOL to connect to the Internet.
  2. When you see the AOL home page, minimize the browser window. This can be accomplished by clicking the minimize button in the upper right corner of the screen. This button is located in a group of three, and contains only a dash.
  3. Double click the Internet Explorer, Mozilla, FireFox, Camino, Opera, or Netscape Navigator icon.
  4. When the new browser window opens, navigate to this website.
