How can I prevent a loss of my work due to interruptions in internet service, etc?

If you are completing coursework and losing your work due to a loss of internet connection or other interruption, one solution is to copy and paste. Before entering your answer electronically within the course, you may want to type out your answer in your word processing program and save it. You can then use the proper procedure for your browser and operating system to copy the work from your document and paste it into the proper field in the course. You will need to be careful to check your answer after doing so. Some characters/formatting features may not translate.
