Critical Tasks

Before an observer can conduct an observation, the administrator must complete the following tasks in the order listed:

1. Observer privileges must be assigned to those individuals who will be carrying out that role.
2. Observer settings must be configured for the observer.
3. Learners must be assigned to the observer.
4. The appropriate observation form(s) must be assigned to each learner (You can use a form created by LSI, or you can create a custom form. This must be done before you can assign the form to a learner).
5. The observation(s) must be scheduled.

Note that steps 3 and 5 above could also be completed by the observer.
